Abstract :This experiment was conducted in the field of Rural Affairs Experimental Institute of Konya in 1998 growing season. Two levels of biological nitrogenous fertilizer (Azotobacter sp. + Azospirillum lipoforum; 0, 600 g/ha), 4 levels of industiral nitrogen and Rhizobium phaseoli peat cultures (Control, 50 kg N/ha, rhizobial inoculation and rhizobial inoculation plus 50 kg N/ha) were inoculated and/or applied before sowing. The experimental was designed factorially with 3 replications. Initial pod height (cm), plant height (cm), pod number per plant, pod width (cm), pod length (cm), grain number per pod, pod yield per plant (g), skin yield per pod (g), grain yield per plant (g) and a thousand grain weight (g) were determined. According to the ANOVA, there was not any statistical difference between the characteristics determined with respect to fertilizer treatments. Although plant height was higher in plots where bio-fertilizer applied, other values such as initial pod height, pod number Per plant, pod width, pod length, 1000 grain weight, skin yield Per pod, pod number Per plant, pod yield Per plant and seed yield were higher in control plots which were not given the biofertilizers. This results may suggest that bio-fertilizer application may be beneficial in ecological agriculture for which industrially obtained fertilizers can not be used. Keywords : Fasulye, Biyogübre, Azot, Bakteri, Verim
