Abstract :Ali Şir Nevai, 15. yüzyılda Türkistan'ın Horasan bölgesinde yaşamış ve çağatay Türkçesi ile güçlü eserler vermişti. Türkiye'de ve İran'da çok tanınan ve sevilen Ferhad u Şirin hikayesini mesnevi tarzında işlemiştir. Hikaye iki bölümden meydana gelmiş gibidir. Birinci kısımda Ferhad'ın seyahatIarı yer alır. Ferhad aşkı nasıl bulacağını öğrenir. İkinci kısımda Şirin'e olan aşkı ve ona kavuşmak için verdiği mücadeleleri görtlyoruz. ABSTRACT Ali Şir Nev~i was a famous writer of l5'h century in Horasan Turkistan. Who wrotes his books in Caghatay Turkish. He wrote the Mesnevi Ferhad and Şirin which was a popular and historical story in İran and Turkey. Story is composed of two parts. First part consist of the joumeys of Ferhad where he learns how to find symbolic love. Second part consist of his love for Şirin and his fights to reach her.
