The Xylotroph`s Macromycetes on Beech in Azerbaijani Forests

Abstract :The aim of this study is to investigate the species composition and significance of beech-wood decomposing macromycetes. A total of 101 species of macromycetes were found on beech insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Fagus orientalis Lipsky); in Azerbaijani forests. All species of xylotophic macromycetes belonged to 52 genera and 13 families of the orders Aphyllophorales, Polyporales, Agaricales and Auriculariales from the subdivision Basidiomycotina. The greatest part insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(79%); of xylotrophic species is represented by the order Aphyllophorales, species of Polyporales compose 10.9%, Agaricales 8.9%, and only one species belonging to the order Auriculariales. The Poriaceae family takes first place in terms of the number of species and genera insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(58 species from 41 genera);. The intensive destroyers of beech wood in forests are Polyporus squamosus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Huds.: Fr.); Fr., Fomitopsis pinicola insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Sw.: Fr.); P. Karst., Fomes fomentarius insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(L.: Fr.); J. Kickxfil., Phellinus igniarius insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(L.: Fr.); Quel., Pholiota adiposa insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Fr.: Fr.); P. Kumm. and Ganoderma applanatum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Pers.); Pat. The presence of a variety of genera and species of wood decomposing macrofungi, especially in antropogen influenced areas, is an indicator of the destructive processes of forest ecosystems.Keywords : Xylotroph, Macromycetes, Beech, Basidiomycotina, Azerbaijan
