Changes in Some Agronomical Characters of the Autotetraploid Perennial Rye (Secale montanum Guss) in Relation to the Time

Abstract :This study was conducted to determine the changes in some agronomical characters of the autotetraploid perennial rye depending on the time in Erzurum between May-August months in 1996 and 1997 years. In the experiment, plant samples were taken at fifteen-day intervals between onset of the growing and beginning of the seed mature stage. In the samples, plant height, hay production, and the ratio of leaf, dry matter, crude protein, crude cellulose, crude ash, Ca, K, Mg and P were analyzed. According to regression analysis results, all investigated characters except for Ca had significant relationships based on the time.
