Abstract :The aim of determining the optimal manufacturing policy is to simplify the work flow and to balance the assembly lines. In this study, alternatives manufacturing policies have determined in order to solve this troubles in a factory that produced standard furniture has complex work flow and unbalanced assembly lines. These policies were modelled using Siman simulation language. The application carried out with the aid of computer showed that performance values of 6th policy are the best suitable for furniture manufacturing in this factory.
