Abstract :In this study ten maize inbred lines and their testcrosses were investigated in terms of some traits. Dependence of test-crosses on the inbred lines and similarity of the inbred line groups with their testcross groups were examined. Based on the results, preliminary parent selection can be used to make cross combinations, but testcross procedure has to be done in order to reach cer-tain results.
