Abstract :The seasonal variation in total lipid and total fatty acid contents of the gonads of Cyprinion macrostomusinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(HECKEL, 1843); living in the Topardiç Brook insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Kangal-Sivas); were investigated. It was observed that the variations in the gonad weights and the amount of total lipid and total fatty acid in the gonad of the male and female fish were more noticeable especially at the time of gonad development and the spawning period. The total lipid and total fatty acid amount which increased during the spawning period showed a decrease at the end of this period.
