Abstract :Studies on herbarium material of grasses recently collected in Turkey revealed the existence of three taxa hitherto not reported from this country: Bromus tomentellus Boiss. subsp. nivalis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Bornm.); H. Scholz & Byfield, subsp. et stat. nov., Microstegium vimineum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Trin.); A. Camus as a probably introduced plant, and Poa asiae-minoris H. Scholz & Byfield, sp. nova, described here as a species new to science.
