Abstract :The pollen morphology of 10 species belonging to the 3 genera of the family Campanulaceae were investigated with a light microscope and sacanning microscope. It is eurypalynous in nature. Pollen grains are mostly oblate-spheroidal, rarely prolate-spheroidal or spheroidal, often suboblate. Tectum striate-rugulate, often subpsilate with spinules. On the basis of apertural types 2 distinct pollen types are recognized viz. Campanula latifolia - type, Codonopsis clematidea- type.
