Abstract :Plantago myosuros is an herbaceous plant species native to South America that is naturalized in parts of Europe. Here, I designate a lectotype for the name P. myosuros and for two of its synonyms, P. nigritella and P. rojasii. I also propose the synonymization of the currently accepted P. myosuros subsp. humilior with P. myosuros. Images of the lectotypes of these four names are provided.
