Deposition and characterization of Cu9S5 nanocrystals from unsymmetrical [(Hex)(Me)NC(S)NC(O)C6H3(NO2)2-3,5]2Cu(II) and [(Et)(Bu)NC(S)NC(O)C6H4-4-NO2]2Cu(II) complexes by colloidal thermolysis method

Abstract :Cu9S5 nanocrystals were synthesized from unsymmetrical [insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Hex);insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Me);NCinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(S);NCinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(O);C6H3insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(NO2);2-3,5]2Cuinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); and [insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Et);insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Bu);NCinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(S);NCinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(O);C6H4-4-NO2]2 Cuinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); complexes by colloidal thermolysis in the presence of surfactant oleylamine. The unsymmetrical copper complexes were synthesized by the reaction of copperinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); acetate with N-[hexylinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(methyl);carbamothioyl]-3,5-dinitrobenzamide and N-[ethylinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(butyl);carbamothioyl]-4-nitrobenzamide. The complexes were used as single-source precursors for the preparation of Cu9S5 nanocrsytals. The Cu9S5 nanocrystals were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and transmission electron microscopy.
