Abstract :We report a short and efficient 3-component reaction for synthesis of a series of [1,2-b]pyrrole derivatives from ninhydrin, alkyl propiolates, and simple primary amines under solvent free and microwave irradiation. This method provides a new route to produce pyrrole derivatives in good to excellent yields.
