Abstract :The photochemical dimerization of 3 known methoxy derivatives of chalcones, insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2E);-1-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2-methoxy);phenyl-3-phenylpropen-1-one insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1);, insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2E);-1-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3-methoxy);phenyl-3-phenyl-propen-1-one insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2);, and insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2E);-1-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4-methoxy); phenyl-3-phenylpropen-1-one insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3);, yielded 3 new d -truxinic type dimers in solution: rel-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1b ,2a);- di-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2-methoxy);-benzoyl-rel-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3b ,4a );-diphenylcyclobutane insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4);, rel-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1b ,2a );-di-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3-methoxy);benzoyl-rel-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3b, 4a );-diphenylcyclobutane insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5);, and rel-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1b ,2a);- di-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4-methoxy);benzoyl-rel-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3b ,4a );-diphenylcyclobutane insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(6);, stereoselectively.
