Abstract :Phytochemical examination of the bulbs of Ornithogalum umbellatum L. led to the isolation a new steroidal compound. Its structure was determined to be 3-O-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2`-methoxy-4`-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2-pentenal););-phenyl sitosterol insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1); by spectroscopic data and chemical evidence.
