Abstract :The amine exchange reaction has been applied for obtaining a new series of arylamine Mannich bases from variously substituted aromatic amines and 3-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(dimethylamino);-1-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2`-hydroxy-5`-methylphenyl); propan-1-one. The structures of the newly synthesised Mannich bases have been investigated by IR, 1H- and 13C-NMR and shown to be in good agreement with the proposed ones.
