Abstract :The solvent effect on Verongia aerophoba metabolites during the extraction and isolation processes were examined in this study. A major compound insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(6);, a stereoisomer of fistularin-3, and a new compound insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2); were isolated from the acetone extract of dried and ethanol extract of fresh V. aerophoba samples respectively. The structures of these metabolites were elucidated using spectroscopic methods.
