Abstract :Thermal behaviour of six azo dyes containing steric hindered groups such as tert-butyl, sec-butyl and isopropyl, were investigated by means of thermogravimetry insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(TG);, differential thermal analysis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(DTA); and differential thermogravimetry insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(DTG);. The thermal decomposition points and amount of volatile pyrolysis products, were determined in nitrogen atmosphere using TG, DTA and DTG curves.
