Abstract :ÖZET Erzurum'da Atatüık Üniversitesi Arazisi Üzerindeki Salvia sp.'den toplanan bir tür akar Bryobia [ongiselis olarak Edward W. Baka (USA) tarafından teşhis edilmiştir. Bu tür, Bryobia cinsine bağlı di/Jer tür/erden, zayıf bir propodosoma/ /ob ihtiva etmesi, dorsa! setae'l11n spalü! şeklinde ve üzerinde dişli olması, asrl tımagm çengel şekilde oluşu ve empo_ dium'un Ventralde iki sıralı tenent kıllı olması ile tefrik edilebilmektedir. Bu tür Salvia sp.'de çok düşük popu/asyonda bulunmuştur. SUMMARY Morphological Studies on Bryohia longisetis Reek (Acarina: Tetranychidae). A mite which is found on Salvia sp. in. Erzurum/Turkey, has been identified as Bryobia longisetis by Edward W. Baker (USA). It.is idistinguished from related Bryobia speeies by having coııvex, weak propodosomal lobe, spatulate doısal ıletae, and true daw hooked, empodium ıv consisting of two rows tenent hairs ventraIly. The population level of this mite has been feund ver)' low on Salvia sp.
