Abstract :ÖZET Bu araştırmada, diploid ve teraploid ingiliz çimi (Lolium percQme [.) bitkilerinin ot verimleri ve tohum tutma oranları Tl1ukayese edilmiş, bu özellikleri üzerine po/iplai. dlnin etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, bir diploid çeşit ve bundan eolelıieine işlemi ile elde edilen Cı döl/eri (Erzurum olarak adlandırılmıştır), ayrıca Japonya kökenli tetraploid Yatsııgane ve Uol/anda kökenli tetraploül Agresso ve Atempo çeşitleri kul/anılmıştır. Saksiiarda yetiltirifen fideler bel/i bir büyüklüğe geldiğinde tarlaya şaşırtılmışlardır. 4x4.2 tn boyımarmda hazırlanmış parsel/ere sıra arası 1.0 m, sıra üzeri 0.7 m olcıcak şekilde her parsele 35 hitki şaşırtı!mıştırBitkiler başağa kalktıklan devrede ot için biçilmişterdi", Diploid ve bunun C2 döl/eri diğer çeşitlerden 15 gün önce başağa kal/artış/ar ve biçilmişlerdir. Ot biçim tarihlerinden yaklaşık bir ay 50rlra tohum sayısı ve oranlan için örnekler alınmıştır. .Araştırmadem aşağıda/d sonuçlar a/mmıştır: f· Dip/oidin kuru ot verimi 100.0 %rak kabul edildiğinde Yatsugane'ninki 123.3, 'gresso ve Arempo'nımkiler ~se sırasıy/a 121.1 ve- i lJ.9 olmuştur. Oysa Erzurum C2 döl/eri 'unki sadece 76.3 idi. -2- Gerek başak başına e/de edi/en ortalama dolu tohum sayısı gerekse tohum tutma oranı yonünden- yabancı kökenli tetraploidler diploide çok yaklaşmışlardır. Henüz üzerinde seleksiyon yapıbnamı§ ve ham po/iploid halde bulıman Erzurum (Cı döl/eri)'da başak başına ortalama dolu tohum sayısı ve tohum tutma oranı diploidlerden çok düşük olmuştur.
