Abstract :ÖZET: Bu çalıgma, Atatürk Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Ziraat isletmesinden buzağı barınağının durumu, özellikleri, alan ve hocan yönünden yeterliliği, yapı malzemesi ve yapı elemanları ile ahır içi çevre koşullarının incelenmesi amacıyla yap tlmışür. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre barınağın planlama durumunun genelde uygun olduğu ancak uygun çevre koşullarının sağlanması yönünden sorunları bulunduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçların ışığı altında yörede uygulanabilecek buzağı barınakları için optimum planlama koşullan belirlenerek örnek bir buzağı barınağı planı hazırlanmıştır. A RESEARCH ON THE PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDİTİONS OF THE CALF HOUSING WTTH THE INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP PENS IN ERZURUM SUMMARY Small calves are the most neglected animals. İn small herds, a few calves are often tied in a manger, or in any old building. Often this building for thern is inconvenient. As herds increase in size, more minutes are loss caring for each calf and more calves may die of neglect. The purpose of this study is to determine the present conditions and features of the calf barn in the Agricultural Colloge of Atatürk University and to investigate the possibilitiesfor the improvement of this barn, also to prepare the catfbarn plan suitable to this regionKeywords :
