Abstract :This article reviews fundamental concepts of modeling and simulation in computational sciences, such as a model, analytical- and numerical-based modeling, simulation, validation, verification, etc., in relation to the virtual labs widely-offered as parts of engineering education. Virtual tools that can be used in electromagnetic engineering are also introduced.
