Abstract :In this study, transverse vibrations of rotating prismatic beams based on variable materials are investigated. Natural frequencies are obtained by the Rayleigh-Ritz method. These results are compared with frequency results of rotating prismatic beams with constant stress. Both sets of results are shown in tables.
