Abstract :Based on the equation of energy balance and the equation of heat conductivity with the help of specialized software, tentative engineering calculations were performed for the process of laser marking by melting and structural changes. The functional capabilities of the software product were examined. Distribution of temperature by layers for samples of tool steel was obtained.
