Structural and permeability characterization of Zn-Li ferrites

Abstract :Structural characterization and magnetic properties of Zn-substituted Li ferrites with composition \linebreak Zn x ` role=`presentation`> x x _{x} Li 0.45 − x / 2 ` role=`presentation`> 0.45 − x / 2 0.45 − x / 2 _{0.45-x/2} Fe 2.55 − x / 2 ` role=`presentation`> 2.55 − x / 2 2.55 − x / 2 _{2.55-x/2} O 4 ` role=`presentation`> 4 4 _{4} insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(where x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5); were studied by varying sintering temperature T S ` role=`presentation`> S S _{S} insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(where T S ` role=`presentation`> S S _{S} = 1000, 1050, 1100, 1150, 1200, and 1250 ∘ ` role=`presentation`> ∘ ∘ ^{\circ} C); of the six samples. The single-phase cubic spinel structure was found by XRD patterns and scanning electron microscopy revealed the microstructure of all the samples. Permeability insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(real, μ i ′ ` role=`presentation`> μ ′ i μ i ′ \mu_{i}` and imaginary, μ i ″ ); ` role=`presentation`> μ ′′ i ); μ i ″ ); \mu _{i}``); was found to increase with Zn substitution and also with sintering temperature. The real part of initial permeability insert ignore into journalissuearticles values( μ i ′ ); ` role=`presentation`> μ ′ i ); μ i ′ ); \mu_{i}`); was found to depend on the density and average grain sizes of the samples. It was also observed that increase of the real part of permeability was accompanied by decrease of resonance frequency insert ignore into journalissuearticles values( f r ); ` role=`presentation`> f r ); f r ); f_{r}); , which confirms the Snoek relation for polycrystalline ferrites.
