Yield Traits of Geese of Different Origins Reared in Turkey II. Growth Traits

Abstract :This study was carried out to determine the growth traits of geese of different origins reared in Turkey. In the experiment, 25 INRA, 15 Armutlu, 15 Tatlıcak and 18 Başkuyu geese were used. The differences between chick weight, and 12th and 25th week live weight of the geese was statistically significant insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(P < 0.001);. Live weight gains were highest at weeks 4 and 5 for the geese. Significant differences were found between the sex groups for week 8, 12, 16, 20 and 25 live weight insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(P < 0.001);.
