Abstract :A total of 404 horses was examined from the selected cities insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Istanbul, Bursa, Balıkesir); of the Marmara region of Turkey. Blood was collected from all horses and the sera were analyzed for the presence of antibodies to equine infectious anemia virus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(EIAV); using an agar gel immunodiffusion insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(AGID); test. The results revealed that none of the horses were positive for antibodies to EIAV.
