New distributional data for the genera Empis Linnaeus and Rhamphomyia Meigen (Diptera: Empididae) in the Marmara Region with new records from Turkey

Abstract :This study is based on Empis and Rhamphomyia insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Diptera: Empididae); specimens collected from the Marmara Region between the years 2008 and 2010. Out of a total of 28 species that were found in this study, 14 species are new records for the Turkish fauna. Distributions of these species in Turkey have been mapped, and the Palaearctic distributions were given. Geographic distributions of all species are further discussed.
