Abstract :One female specimen of Serranus hepatus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Linnaeus, 1758); insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Perciformes, Serranidae); was captured off the Black Sea coast of Turkey by bottom trawl at a depth of 80-90 m on 23 March 2012. This is the first record of this species for the Black Sea.
