Abstract :The otolith morphologies of 13 species belonging to the Sparidae family collected from the Bay of İzmir insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Aegean Sea); were examined separately and the characteristics were drawn. The values obtained from measurements are given in the 95% confidence interval. With discriminant analysis, the groups were formed depending on the data collected. As a result of this analysis, it is possible to identify the species from the Sparidae family by the otolith characters.
