Abstract :Twenty-six animals of the species Meriones tristrami Thomas, 1892 were studied morphologically. The animals were collected province of Diyarbakır-Turkey. The specimens were studied in respect to thier morphological characteristics in detail. The data obtained from the specimens were compared with the results of the previous studies. Results shows that the samples are Meriones tristrami Thomas,1892 which are living Diyarbakır province, in Turkey. Skins and skulls have been deposited at the Dicle University, Science & Art Faculty, Biology Department.
