Abstract :Reproduction characteristics and fecundity of A. salina living in Tuz Lake were studied during 1995. In Tuz lake no male individuals. It has been detected that parthenogenetic Artemia population consist only female individuals and it reproduces by oviparously. But it is noticed that a few individuals caught in June was reproduced ovoviviparly. In the fecundity analysis it has been determined that increasing total lenght of Artemia, the number of the eggs are also increases and decreases depending on the increase of salt concentration.
