Abstract :On the basis of morphological characters such as the shape of the mouth, suborbital spines, lamina circularis subdorsal scales, pigmentation and fin ray formulas four new species insert ignore into journalissuearticles values( kellei, fahireae, splendens and puncticulata); and one subspecies insert ignore into journalissuearticles values( C. vardarensis kurui); of genus Cobitis from Turkey are described.
