Abstract :This recent checklist of marine arthropods found on the coasts of Turkey represents a total of 1531 species belonging to 7 classes: Malacostraca insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(766 species);, Maxillopoda insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(437 species);, Ostracoda insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(263 species);, Pycnogonida insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(27 species);, Arachnida insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(26 species);, Branchiopoda insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(7 species);, and Insecta insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5 species);. Seventy-five species were classified as alien species in the region.
