Abstract :Five gall midge species were identified as new records for the fauna of Iran from the Joghatay region of Razavi Khorasan Province, NE Iran. These species are Campylomyza flavipes Meigen, 1818 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Micromyinae);; Micromya lucorum Rondani, 1840 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Micromyinae);; Rabdophaga salicis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Schrank, 1803); insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Cecidomyiinae);; Rhopalomyia efremovi Fedotova, 1999 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Cecidomyiinae);; and Rhopalomyia monogynasphaera Fedotova, 1999 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Cecidomyiinae);. As many parts of the country have not been studied in terms of Cecidomyiidae fauna, the gall midge fauna of Iran will be increased considerably with further research.
