Abstract :  Haplothrips aliakbarii sp. nov . insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Phlaeothripidae: Phlaeothripinae); is described and illustrated from Ilam Province, western Iran. This new species was collected on the leaves of oak trees insert ignore into journalissuearticles values( Quercus brantii );. An identification key for Iranian species of Haplothrips is presented.
