Abstract :Rye is resistant to cold, drought, diseases, and pests, and it protects and improves the soil structure. The aim of this study was to determine the grain yield and quality of rye insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Secale cereale); as feed in Central Anatolian conditions. For this purpose, nine populations and one variety insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Aslım-95); of rye and one variety of triticale insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Karma-2000); were investigated for grain yield, crude protein content, acid detergent fiber insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ADF);, neutral detergent fiber insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(NDF);, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, total phenolic, total flavonoid, DPPH free radical scavenging activity and condensed tannin content. Experiments were carried out in Yozgat ecological conditions in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 growing seasons in a randomized block design with three replications. There were significant insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(P<0.01); differences between genotypes and years in terms of grain yield and all the quality traits. In combined years, the grain yield of populations was higher compared to the varieties. According to the quality traits, it was determined that some populations have the same or better performance than the cultivars as feed. As result, it was determined that the populations have the potential to be used as a genetic resource in breeding studies in terms of yield and quality traits for feed type rye.
