Abstract :The United States\\\' endeavours to assert its dominance in the post-Soviet region and the Asia-Pacific region, alongside its policy of containment against the countries in these regions, have caused considerable discord among numerous nations, including China and the Russian Federation. In this complex and dynamic international environment, the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization (EECO) has evolved significantly, shifting its focus towards pursuing strategic objectives. By diversifying its relations and developing in politics, economy, security and diplomacy, this organization has emerged as a pivotal strategic formation in the post-Soviet geography. The present study sets out to examine the new strategic formations in the post-Soviet geography, intending to reveal the importance of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization as a concrete reflection of the integration processes in the region. The hypothesis that \\\'the member states of the Organization of Eurasian Economic Cooperation can achieve a strong regional integration structure in the post-Soviet geography by improving cooperation in politics, security, economy and other fields\\\' is tested in the study. The study provides a comprehensive overview of the post-Soviet geography, including an analysis of regional developments during and after the Cold War. It also places significant emphasis on the role of the Eurasian Economic Union in these developments. Keywords : soğuk savaş, bölgesel örgütler, avrasya ekonomik birliği
