Abstract :Duygusal zekâ, özellikle liderlikte çok önemlidir. Liderlik başkalarının işlerini etkili ve verimli yürütmelerini sağlayanbir roldür. Liderlerin kişisel ve sosyal yetkinliklerindeki eksiklik herkesin performansını ve motivasyonunu düşürür, zaman kaybına yol açar, bağlılığı yıpratır. Güçlü ve başarılı liderler bilişsel zekâ yanında duygusal zekâya da sahiptirler. Çalışmamız da, duygusal zekâya sahip bir lider olan Mustafa Kemal Atatürk örnek olarak alınmış ve söylevleriyle çalışmamız desteklenmiştir.   Anahtar Kavramlar: Duygusal Zekâ insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(EQ);, Liderlik, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk   ABSTRACT Emotional Quotient is very important especially in leadership. Leadership is a rolegetting others to do their work effectively and efficiently. The lack of personal and social proficiency of leaders lessens the performance of people, leads to loss of time, lessens motivation and wears about commitment. Powerful and successful leaders have informatic as well as emotional quotient . In our study, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who was a leader with emotional quotient has been taken as an example, and the study is supported by his sayings.
