Abstract :The Problem of The Relationship Between The Faith and The Knowledge in an-Nasafi`s Thought. The dimension of the relationship between Faith and Knowledge is one of the main problems of the history of thought. This issue was the subject of the different Islamic sciences and it was discussed by the Islamic Theologians, who are called Ahl al-Kalam. In these discussions, two questions were arised as following; Is the Faith a kind of Knowledge or is the fact which differs from knowledge? If the Faith is not a kind of knowledge, should it stand on the knowledge? If it should not,from where and how does it achive? So, in this article, it is critically examined the relationslıip between the Faith and the Knowledge according to an-Nasafi who was the famous Maturidit theologian. On this issue, the ideas of other Islamic theologians are also mentioned. After discussing the opposite thoughts about this problem, it is called attention to the lack of existentialistic`s dimension which should be necessary in every way
