Abstract :Within the scope of this study, Ömer B. Abdülaziz\'s understanding of politics and the political ethics he followed against the opposition were discussed within the framework of politics and political ethics. The aim of the study is Omar b., who created awareness by revealing that the religion of Islam did not spread by the force of the sword in the Umayyad State, which ruled for nearly a century between the years 661-750, during its short caliphate, and that on the contrary, the most effective role in this regard was to live Islam. The aim is to determine what kind of policy Abdulaziz followed against the opposition during his rule. In this context, it is to reveal what methods Ömer used in his politics and what results he achieved after this application. Within the scope of this study, which included a literature review, first of all, the relationship between politics and morality within the framework of political morality and concepts and, accordingly, Islamic political ethics were briefly mentioned; then Omar b. Abdulaziz\'s perspective on these concepts and how and in what way he applied them were examined. This study focuses on the period of the Umayyads, especially Omar b.
