Abstract :of the federal agencies enforcing many labor and employment laws, has sought to pierce the corporate veil in order to impose expanded liability for employment law violations where two separate corporations are, in reality and substance, co-employers. In such case, the DOL has held each corporation jointly and severally liable for the employment law violations of one of the corporations
