Abstract :This case study explores the use of technology, specifically the WhatsApp tool, to enhance student learning about leadership in different cultures through observations and the analysis of student products and reflections. Students in a class in the United States worked with students in a class in Kyrgyzstan to compare and contrast tourism and leadership in their respective countries, using video and chat technology. Student projects and reflections on the project and process involved were examined via content analysis to reveal findings regarding learning and the use of the app tool and other technology.
