Abstract :The tradition of minstrelsy offers important data to researchers in carrying the events experienced in Turkish society to the future and examining the social structure. The informative aspect of the poems produced within the framework of tradition should not be ignored as well as the aesthetic aspect. Katibi, one of the most remarkable minstrels of the 17th century, although he mainly deals with the subject of love in his poems, he has included the subject of criticism in which social and individual satires are intertwined in his three epics that we have today. In our study, three of his poems were examined in the context of shedding light on the social life of the 17th century. This artist, who we can define as an army poet, made criticisms that put people in the center with a harsh language in his satires. In these satires, he questioned human behavior mainly on the axis of religious concepts and finally concluded that individuals act in the opposite direction of values in social life. According to him, this state of human behavior is explained as the approach of the End Times. Like all lovers, he imagined an ideal human being in his imaginations and tried to reveal this in the model of \"her, valiant type\" human. This type exhibits an attitude in accordance with the basic values and religious, moral and cultural norms of the society. However, it is understood that this model is far from 17th century social values in Katibi\'s satires.
