Abstract :Erzurum’da Cumhuriyet Caddesi üzerinde yer alan Caferiye Camii, ilk inşasında bir külliye olarak düzenlenmiştir. Külliye; cami, çilehane, medrese, mektep, hamam, hazire, dokuz lüleli çeşme ve tuvaletlerden teşekkül etmiş bir XVII. yüzyıl Osmanlı Külliyesidir. Külliye yapılarından sadece cami, mektep, çilehane ve çeşmelerden biri günümüze ulaşmıştır. Külliyenin banisi Cafer Efendi, XVII. yüzyılda Erzurum’un önde gelen şahsiyetlerinden olup, alimliği ve hayırseverliği ile tanınmıştır. Cami, kare planlı tek kubbeli ve önünde üç gözlü bir soncemaat yerine sahiptir. Yapı 2006-2007 yılında Erzurum Vakıflar Bölge Müdürlüğü tarafından onarılmıştır. It is 17th century Ottoman külliye which consists of a mosque, a religious retirement, a madrasa, a school, Turkish bath, a fountain and toilets. Only the mosque, the school, the religious retirement and the fountain have reached to the present. Cafer Efendi, the founder of Külliye, was a prominent figure in 17th century Erzurum, and is known with his generosity, and intellectual personality. The mosque is square planned, one domed, and in front of it there is three sectioned the last community placement. It has been repaired by Regional Directorate of Foundations in 2006 and 2007.
