Abstract :This study offers a historical and analytical examination of the systemic violations endured by the Algerian people under French colonial rule. The colonial regime employed extensive material and psychological repression to suppress aspirations for liberation from subjugation and exploitation. The consequences of such oppression were profound, resulting in significant human losses, including countless martyrs, as well as the widespread suffering of widows, orphans, and individuals with permanent disabilities. Despite the severe repercussions of colonial violence—and recognizing that the pursuit of freedom and the reclamation of dignity justified immense sacrifice—the Algerian response remained resolute. Revolutionary leaders effectively mobilized resistance, challenging and ultimately overcoming colonial domination. Through sustained struggle, they successfully undermined French colonial strategies, compelling the occupying power to concede defeat and withdraw, marked by irrevocable political and symbolic humiliation. Keywords : Baskıcı Önlemler, Sömürgeci Başarısızlık, Ulusal Kurtuluş Ordusu, Boyun Eğme, Saygınlığın Yeniden Tesisi
