Abstract :Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart is more than a celebrated literary work; it stands as a powerful decolonizing narrative shaped by Achebe’s dissatisfaction with the misrepresentation of Africa by European writers. By constructing a narrative that foregrounds authentic African experiences and perspectives, Achebe challenges colonial distortions and recenters African identity within Nigeria’s emerging national consciousness. Drawing on a critical postcolonial textual approach, this paper explores how Things Fall Apart functions as a foundational text resisting imperial domination, revealing the profound and often subtle impacts of colonialism on Igbo society, and portraying cultural conflicts and transformations with clarity and depth. Keywords : Dekolonize edici anlatı, Postkolonyalizm, Sömürgecilik, İgbo toplumu, Kimlik
