Abstract :The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the organizational commitment and motivation of individuals working in the academy environment and to determine the intermediary role cultural attitude. In the globalizing world, the organizational structure has become very important and it is understood that human capital is an important factor in order to achieve success and goals. In the literature study, it was seen that the motivation of the employees with high organizational commitment affects the motivation of the employees, and in the same way, the cultural attitude has significant effects. The biggest advantage of this research conducted in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is that people from many different countries live together. Since this study, which was examined on the academicians of the American University of Cyprus located in the Nicosia region, again included citizens of Turkey, the TRNC and other countries, the hypotheses formed confirmed the relationship between culture attitude, organizational commitment and motivation to a high extent. This study was applied to 121 academic staff from different countries and was conducted as a face-to-face survey form as a method. SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs were used in the analysis of the data. In the study in which structural equation modeling was preferred, Cronbach\'s alpha values were examined for confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analysis, and the distribution was found to be normal. However, according to the results of the analysis in the research, it is seen that the H1a and h3b values among the hypotheses are high. With this study, it is aimed to shed light on the new studies to be done by examining the relations between the developed model and all the variables.
