Abstract :This study aimed to develop a scale to determine the attitudes of science teachers towards distance in-service training activities. The research utilized a quantitative survey model. The accessible population of the study consisted of teachers in Kayseri city, reaching 162 science teachers in total. The data collection tool for the study was the \\\"Teacher Attitude Scale towards Distance In-Service Training Activities.\\\" The factors identified in this scale included \\\"positive attitude towards distance in-service training activities,\\\" \\\"valuing distance in-service training activities,\\\" \\\"negative attitude towards distance in-service training activities,\\\" and \\\"expectations and demands from distance in-service training activities.\\\" Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was performed using SPSS 25.0, and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was carried out with LISREL 8.7. The study addressed validity in terms of face validity, construct validity, content validity, and criterion validity. Reliability was evaluated by calculating the Cronbach\\\'s alpha internal consistency coefficient. The results showed high values for the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure and Bartlett\\\'s test, indicating the adequacy of the sample size. This research is expected to shed light on future investigations and assist in-service training planners. Keywords : Uzaktan hizmet içi eğitim, ölçek geliştirme, geçerlik ve güvenirlik, ölçüt geçerliği
