Abstract :Aim: Cardiac masses are uncommon, they can be non-neoplastic or neoplastic. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of cardiac masses and to review their clinicopathological features. Material and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 35 cases of cardiac surgery performed in our institution from 2014 to 2022 due to cardiac mass. Results: The age of patients ranged from 7 months to 79 years, with a mean age of 46,2 years and a female to male ratio of 25/10. Primary benign cardiac tumors constituted the majority of our series. The most common tumoral lesion is myxoma, followed by papillary fibroelastoma, fibroma, rhabdomyoma and glomus tumour respectively. There were two metastatic carcinoma cases. Non-neoplastic mass lesions were also in the majority and can be listed as thrombus, calcified cardiac pseudotumor and infective endocarditis according to their incidence. Conclusion: This study, using a relatively large sample, reveals the clinical incidences and pathological characteristics of various cardiac masses in our institution. Keywords : kardiak kitleler, tümörler, tümör dışı lezyonlar
