Abstract :Türkiye kökenli 90 Lactococcus lactis suşunun 25 laktik faja karşı test edilmesi sonucu, 7 adet susun tüm fajlara karşı tam direnç gösterdiği belirlendi. Yedi suştan altı adedi ekzopolisakkarit üretme yeteneğinde bulundu. Bu suşlardan 4 adedinin kapsüler, 2 adedinin ise hücre duvarı ile gevşek ilişkili ekzopolisakkaritler ürettiği saptandı. Tüm ekzopotisakkarit üreten L. lactis suşlarında, faj dirençlilik fenotipinin faj adsorbsiyonunun engellenmesi suretiyle oluşturulduğu tespit edildi.
